"Collingwood Group conducted team leader training sessions on our behalf at our facility in Mansfield. The sessions lasted a number of months and both myself and the delegates involved were delighted with the training provided. We will have no hesitation in using Collingwood in the future or recommending them to others."

"The Collingwood Group facilitators provided seven excellent team activities. 'Corps of signs' and 'dancing draughts' brought out the leadership and planning skills needed within our organisation. 'Leopard' was an excellent ice breaker and team working was essential in getting the right result. Communication skills were evident when doing the 'Blind engineer' activity. Steven was very flexible and stepped in to run activities at short notice during our Two day event. Steven, Sara, Paul and Adrian were a pleasure to work with and I would certainly look at using them again."

"Our international delegates thoroughly enjoyed The Collingwood Group's 'Northumberland Experience' which highlighted the best of what the North East of England has to offer.
"Our teams were energised and motivated by all the team building challenges and spoke highly of their experiences - despite Northumberland's characteristic weather!
"Thanks to all at Collingwood!"

"I think the activities of the day allowed us to enjoy each other in a very comfortable, fun and creative way. Who would have thought that pretending to be shepherds, pigs and sheep would be so hilariously fun that we wouldn't care how embarrassing it was out in front of the whole London Zoo!"

"Thank you so much for the excellent course you organised for us last week. Both Parliamentary Candidates and the Regional staff who took part thoroughly enjoyed the day, but more importantly, have spoken to me about the insights they took on board from both the group activities and the discussions.
"In one or two cases it was almost possible to see lightbulbs switching on over heads as we progressed through the day!!! It was also very thoughtful of you to give us the framed photo as a lasting memento of our day, so thank you for that also. It is on the wall in our Regional Campaign Centre!"

"Steven Wake of The Collingwood Group listened to our requirements for a range of Team Building activities to challenge and entertain almost 120 staff and they certainly delivered.
The round robin of activities energised and motivated our teams and were all carried out in a fun and relaxed environment.
The feedback (such as the comment below) received has all been very positive which is extremely satisfying."
"I really enjoyed the opportunity to be in a team with my workmates in such a fun way. The activities were lively, challenging and varied with good guidance, support and encouragement from the facilitators.
"The best thing was "Babe" the sheep pig, the sense of achievement for our team as we successfully negotiated the obstacle course was a real high.
"As the string was about to break and my manager was struggling to keep her feet with her arms flailing like a windmill, I knew that back in the office we would not be able to look at each other without laughing, this was my funniest moment of the day."

"Steve and Adrian of The Collingwood Group have quickly become an invaluable and regular part of our course timetable by proposing, developing and refining tailor made sessions for the very specific needs of the Clore Leadership Short Course Programme. I've been impressed by their readiness to adapt to new situations and read their very varied audiences. Their refreshing lack of jargon and open approach promotes real dialogue with participants and creates an atmosphere that is not only fun, but also conducive to effective learning and questioning. They have been a consistent favourite with successive groups of participants and I have no doubt they will play a key role in developing our work in the long term. They are a real pleasure to work with."

"The Castle Morpeth Business Forum entertained a large gathering of local businesses at the unearthly hour of 7.30am, with the focus on networking. The Collingwood Group led the event for us, and with a pacey, light touch guided us through the key principles of networking. Using some innovative techniques, they prepared us for a high energy networking session, and moved us on with speed and humour. Within a space of 15 minutes several agreements were finalised. We all left buoyed up with confidence. It was an excellent session, and the feedback is still coming in days after the event. Well done."

"The Collingwood Group created and presented a training day for 29 Scouts aged 14 upwards who are on track to become Young Leaders. The day course in the splendid setting of Longhirst Hall, Morpeth, focussed on team-building and leadership skills.
"The day alternated activity sessions designed to give the youngsters some energetic fun with structured classroom feedback and discussion, which enabled them to explore and reinforce what they had learnt. Steven Wake of The Collingwood Group is well practised in enabling the teams to draw out from their experiences the lessons pointing towards excellence and success in leadership. Because this happens in an environment which is challenging but not threatening, young people readily take on board the guidelines they are discovering.
"The purpose of Scouting is defined as developing young people to achieve their full potential and this day with the Collingwood Group took a giant stride along that route."
